Designed as a first step into the fascinating world of tracking, this 2 day 2 night course covers both animal tracks and sign and actual tracking skills. The course is taught in a relaxed and friendly manner but the level of concentration and immersion in your surroundings will ensure you sleep well at night. You will learn to tune in to your environment, and notice what others miss. By the end of the weekend you will have not only have followed trails for real through the woods relying on your own ability to interpret the sign, and been amazed at how much you now see, but will have the tools necessary further develope your skills in this incredibly addictive subject.

Led from an expedition-style base camp our brew fire is under cover and acts as a communal area with a hot kettle constantly on the fire, and coffee, tea and squash available all day.
 
You will receive expert input on a range of subjects and regularly venture out of camp into the forest to put what you have learned into practice.  You will learn how to become part of your environment, to move unseen or heard. You will have new found confidance to interpret the signs that you do see to give an insight into the wildlife that remains hidden, and you develop a greater understanding of, and immersion in, your natural surroundings.
